Mario Kart: BLACK was released in September by Roobix from Wiiso.com. You can get the Riivolution patch from either megaupload or mediafire (note: The XML is broken, downloaded a working one here). Or where you referring to the one posted in the 'MKw Modded' post? Cuz yea, that's proably broken, I wrote it when I was hungover and couldn't be bothered to finish it.
i wonder when i could downlade the new xml file it says xml page cannot be displayed ?
Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, you're getting that error because IE is trying to load the XML like a normal web XML file. To view it, open it with Notepad (I'd recommend Notepad++, as it adds colour to XML and lets you expand and collapse branches, making it easier to view and edit). The XML will still work with Riivolution (but not with MK:Modded 4.61, I've not fixed it yet, see the update on this post for why!).

The MK Black XML is broken. To fix it, open it with Notepad and add the line just before on the last line.
Alternatively, download this fixed version.

I downloaded mario kart black and the xml file in the comments box. everything works except for the tracks being custom textured. (best part right?)why would sound annd items and the custom main screen work and not the levels?
It doesn't work for me either. But go to Mr. Bean 35000vr's Youtube channel. One of his videos is titled playing hacked courses with Riivolution or something like that. Then download the trackdata. Place all the stuff from the MKBlack folder into My Stuff. It should work then.
