I’ve just tested this with WiiScrubber and a backup, and everything works fine for me except for the Brick Blocks, Q-Blocks, and Coins. They still have their NSMBW look.
Anyways, the new link can be found here.
If you still have problems, leave a comment with the problem you’re having, along with the method you are using to replace the files.
Well, I’m finally gonna get some free time soon. I haven’t had much free time at all, so I still haven’t actually finished any new character textures lately. I do, however, have some tilesets that I’ve been working on. At this time, only one is actually finished, but the others don’t like too much more and they’ll be done.
I’ve made a tileset that has many of the tiles used in the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES. There are many tiles that I went through and added to the tileset. I’ll give a quick rundown of things.
In the above screen, every tile there is completely solid except for the ones used as the stem for the mushroom platform, the stem of the grassy platform, and coins. I haven’t had the chance to test this out on the Wii itself, but it should work fine. If you find any problems with the tileset, leave a comment and I’ll fix it.
In this screen, you’ll see I’ve changed the green, yellow, and red Warp Pipes. Also, I’ve changed the Mini Pipe. The sprite farthest to the left, next to the Mini Pipe, is the Closed Door tile. I also added in the white and light green Warp Pipes. The clouds and the ledge tiles can be passed through from below, and are solid on top. The last two tiles on the right are for the Pipe Joint and Mini Pipe Joint tiles. I think that just about covers everything.
Also, don’t forget to check out the posts below mine, which include Mickey Mouse and Clown Mario, as they are great looking textures. I haven’t had the chance to try them, but I will just as soon as I can. They are done by Intellegentz, who seems to have great skill in making textures. I would also like to thank Intellegentz for fixing my Mr. L texture.
That’s all I have for now. I’ll do my best to get my other tilesets finished as soon as I can.

Thank you pika, it was an honor to finish up your concept.. Mr. L looks awesome. Just finished Paper Mario not too long ago so it was cool to use him in game instead of rivaling against. lol
The oldschool mario tiles look great. Can't wait to see what else you've got.
For me, the bricks and the coins don't work. Neither do the mushroom platforms. In specifics, the bricks that have been hit work, but not the normal bricks. Neither do the ? blocks. The coins are normal coins, and the platforms are normal platforms.
Also, the colored pipes appear as normal pipes.
Just got a chance to try it out. The Brick and Q Blocks are normal, as are the coins. Everything else, though, works fine. I'll look into what's causing the Brick and Q Blocks not to change, and I'm gonna upload the file again, because I may have uploaded the wrong file. I got a new computer recently, and I'm still working on moving everything over, so I could've uploaded the wrong file.
